Adwalker: wearable interactive narrowcasting
Tuesday, 17 April 2007

This new advertising concept will make a sandwich man (or woman in this case) look totally 2010 (or like robocop). The adwalker is a wearable media solution where a media screen provides relevant commercial information. The cool part is that it has interaction possibilities too. It comes with a tablet pc – like handheld, which allows you to interact with consumers, let them play games yielding contests, or fill out their contact details. Besides this it has a payment and print module.

This calls for a new term.. let’s say wearable interactive narrowcasting? I like that you could approach consumers and change locations. This sets it aside form traditional narrowcasting, which is characteristic for being bound to a specific location.
