It has been nearly 2 years since I finished my thesis, but sometimes I still encounter relevant articles that I would like to add to the archive. In one of the chapters I discussed the use of augmented reality in narrowcasting. There were quite some examples of augmented reality in advertising in the meanwhile; but it’s the first time I stumble upon an in-store interactive kiosk that was built for this idea: ![]() The content of the box is augmented on top of it when held in front of the camera. Makes perfect sense for this product. Nice implementation. Via Geekologie.
