Through the Arduino playgrounds I stumbled upon this project:

“The goal was to create a simulation of a lumberjack discipline - cutting disc with a certain weight - with dolmar’s latest chainsaw model ps-5000. we concentrated on creating a hardware / software solution for a realistic experience of working with a chainsaw.”

I'm not too sure if this was done for promotional purposes, but I guess so.
Really nice project yielding the interactive narrowcasting subject if you ask me.
