Street Party, Lviv - Ukraine
Tuesday, 19 August 2008
Completed a youth exchange in Lviv (Ukraine) themed "Street Art".
Took some workshops in bodypainting and creating plaster-masks..
Don’t ask. Learning these skills was just for fun!

But those of you reading this, and meeting me at carnaval next year: be warned!

Toulouse, une belle village
Saturday, 26 July 2008

It was my first time in France. Sightseeing, picnic in the park, heading out, chugging a bottle of sangria under the romantically lit river bridge.. it made me think life was so good, I could taste it in my spit.

Thanks for having me over Julie, you made my first week of holidays!

Hydralis Handbag
Monday, 26 May 2008

Must be my queer side speaking, but I’m a sucker for Lissa Kooijman’s handbag design that got baptized as “Hydralis”. She’s in our ID department and the design recently got in the running for an award in the States.

It uses 4 neodymium magnets for closure and has an aluminium shell.

No high quality pictures yet, but still a decent impression:

A music clip done by an old Swedish roommate for the band Sleeping Beauty.

He was wondering what we were thinking. My 2 cents?
Awesome job Benji.. I can only imagine how much time this took.

Florence, Italy - USI trip
Sunday, 13 April 2008

Back from a week of Italy with my colleagues. We were there to visit CHI 2008. Due to this conference we were occupied daily, which resulted in not much time for tourist related stuff.

I would have loved to go to Uffizi for example, but the enormous cue was too much of a trade off compared to the nice weather and walking around in the city during the one day we actually could. Anyway, I will visit this city again sometime, along with others when travelling through Italy.
