All the best
Sunday, 29 July 2007

Just wanted to wish 2 of my classmates / very good friends all the best while working abroad with this post. They leave next week. Bram is going to work in Stockholm (Sweden) for a gamedesign company as a 3D artist. He will be working on an unannounced xbox360 title.

Tim is off tomorrow to London (England) for his career at last.fm. As a front-end developer he will make sure the last.fm experience of millions of people worldwide will become even better.

We were flathunting in London last week and did a small stop at last.fm for some paperwork. I reckon Tim is going to be just fine, since his new roommate and collegue’s are the coolest ever. Some pics:

Hooray, I graduated!
Thursday, 28 June 2007

Because of all the celebrating, I didn’t even have time to write a post. But good (?) news;  my time as a student is offically over now. You can call me a Master in the audiovisual arts: option Communication & Multimediadesign.. or something like that.

The thesis went down just fine and my project recieved some love by random people. I’ll try to put together a video asap.

As for now I’m applying for some vacagencies and see what the possibilities are.  BUT FIRST: Today.. I’m going to Werchter with the Spanish girls Ana & Iriné.  I lived with them in Sweden, and I’m really looking forward to seeing them again. Perhaps I’ll take my camera and share the moments..

UPDATE 1 - graduated with honours =)

UPDATE 2 - back from Werchter:

Center Parcs Weekend
Monday, 23 April 2007

Back from a weekend Center Parcs with some friends.. Sun was out all weekend in Belgium, which lent itself perfect for blowing of some thesis related steam. Subtropical swimming, sauna, jacuzzi, great nature, booze games, massages and some lovely ladies made it all complete. Shot some footage from the good life: (warning: cell phone quality)

I really should do this more often? More pictures might follow next weekend on flickr when Raf is able to share the footage from his camera. Posting it here just for my friends, so they can easily track this back. Thanks to all those who paid us a visit!

UPDATE: Thanks a million for all your votes! As I saw it upon closing time, I ended up with the highest score through rating. (check screenshot below) Something I’m truly proud of with over one hundred fifty votes within just 5 days. Now it’s up to the judge to select the coolest tricks out of the best rated. I have to honestly say some really good homeboarders showed up on the very last day.. so cross your fingers for me winning something. More news next week.

Farmboarding Endscore

Rating around closing time homeboarding competition.

XBOX launched  a competition which I entered this weekend.. you had to show your “homeboarding-skills” on video.
Unfortunally that is not enough to win something. People also have to vote for you video.. Therefore I need your help. Please be kind enough to give me a 5 - star rating when you watch the video? Pretty please? =)

Respect to my 75 year old neighbour for playing an old farmer.. and my mom for taping this all this with a cellphone. *cough* be warned, phone-quality. Click.
